Fallingwater’s 61st Tour Season Begins March 16!

Experience Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright’s seminal work of organic architecture cantilevered over the Bear Run stream and waterfall in the Southwestern Pennsylvania forest, when it reopens on March 16 for its 61st tour season! Take in a springtime tour of this site on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the place Edgar Kaufmann jr. called, “a work of art…spouting nature’s endless energy and grace.”
Explore the house’s intimate relationship with nature during a Guided Architectural Tour, Guided Grounds Walking Tour or Grounds Pass, In-depth Tour, Focus Tour or Family Field Trip. In the Fallingwater Café, enjoy delicious coffee drinks or lunch made from locally sourced fare, then browse the Museum Store for curated merchandise and visit the Speyer Gallery for a continuation of the enlightening exhibition, “Frank Lloyd Wright’s Southwestern Pennsylvania: The Fallingwater Projects.”

When the Zen of the forest and creative vigor call, there’s no better place to be than at Fallingwater! Join us for an engaging and instructional plein air painting session with Fallingwater Institute Artist-in-Residence and Landscape Painter Ron Donoughe.
Artists of all abilities can improve their drawing skills while learning Donoughe’s method for painting Fallingwater’s architecture and landscape. Sign up for the first of four 2024 workshops, which also provide an opportunity for your work to be displayed at an upcoming exhibition. |

College students can explore career opportunities and hone their skills during hands-on, inspiring paid summer internships at Fallingwater.
Application deadlines are fast approaching for opportunities in the fields of communications, collections, landscape and education.
Interns can stay on the Fallingwater campus, work closely with staff, and foster a deeper appreciation of architecture as they learn new skills. |

New Webinar Highlights Fallingwater’s Geology |
Join us on April 18 at 12 p.m., ET for a fascinating and educational webinar with Western Pennsylvania native and geologist Fred Zelt.
In 2023, he spent weeks studying Fallingwater’s landscape for his published research on the geology of key sites in the Laurel Highlands.
In this free webinar, Fred will reveal many new insights about the art and science of Fallingwater’s organic design.
This webinar is one of four inspired talks scheduled for 2024. |

Formally established in 2015, the Fallingwater Institute provides hands-on instruction, peer collaboration, skill building and inspired thinking through immersive classes, workshops and residencies.
