Will You Help Fallingwater Live On?

When you help Fallingwater live on, you’re helping to inspire the next generation of innovators and creators from all walks of life—fostering their imagination and ingenuity—on the possibilities of living in harmony with nature, sustainability and innovative design. You are also supporting and inspiring today’s talented architects, artisans and lifelong learners through Fallingwater Institute programs and experiences.

When Fallingwater was honored with an inscription to the UNESCO World Heritage List in July 2019, we pledged to preserve Fallingwater at the highest standard possible. Your support helps us continue this work and live up to this commitment. As you may know, we have undertaken the most comprehensive preservation effort at Fallingwater in 20 years. Your support empowers our vigilant preservation for this architectural masterpiece and enables us to continue to share Fallingwater with people in our backyard and from across the world.

Revenue generated onsite through visitation only covers day-to-day operations, so your donation will help ensure that Fallingwater is here to inspire future generations with Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece of organic architecture.

Experience Preservation in Action

Preservation of Fallingwater’s major building systems—stone walls, flat roofs, flagstone terraces, steel window and door frames, and concrete—continues and has mainly been occurring in the evenings and on Wednesdays (when we’re closed) at Fallingwater’s Guest House. However, this winter, December through mid-March, work will be done at Fallingwater’s Main House, too. It’s a unique time to visit to see preservation in action and explore how we’re advancing this complex and important conservation work.

Visitors will experience some visual and audible changes during their visit. We’ve provided details on Fallingwater.org and recently launched a blog to keep you updated on preservation progress and introduce you to the talented people doing this important work.
