Inspiring Experiences, Preserving the Future |
Fallingwater has always been more than just an architectural wonder to see and experience. Fallingwater has always served as a collective catalyst for innovation, deep observation and meaningful dialogue. And the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has continued the Kaufmanns’ legacy for more than 60 years. Whether through the Fallingwater Institute’s programs and experiences, or our engaging programs for school students, Fallingwater has a longstanding commitment to supporting and inspiring today’s talented artists, architects and designers, and tomorrow’s innovators and creators.
When you give to Fallingwater, you’re deepening the harmonious connection between art and nature for so many people, while helping preserve Fallingwater at the highest standard possible. As you may know, a major preservation effort is underway to repair Fallingwater’s major building systems, including the stone walls, flat roofs and reinforced concrete. Your support empowers this vigilant preservation work to continue.
This work ensures that people in our backyard and from across the world can experience this site on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a place of beauty, a unique educational resource and a powerful source of inspiration. Donate by Dec. 31 to help foster imagination, ingenuity and wonder. Revenue generated onsite through visitation only covers day-to-day operations, so your donation will help ensure that Fallingwater is here to inspire future generations with Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece of organic architecture. |

New Open Space Film Features Fallingwater |
Learn more about Fallingwater in this new short film from Open Space. Founded in 2019 by architecture enthusiasts Elias Tebache and Mick Aure, Open Space’s mission is to preserve and portray the essence of architecture through filming residences designed by esteemed architects. Earlier this year, they visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater to capture the essence of the architecture, explore why it’s important to experience Fallingwater at different times of the year, and more.
Hear from Fallingwater Director Justin Gunther as he explains organic architecture, the history of the house from the Kaufmann family’s perspective, and how Fallingwater can deepen one's appreciation of nature. |
