Join Us This Saturday for a Musical Experience in the Fallingwater Living Room!

Tickets are now available for an unforgettable musical performance, this Saturday, June 28, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Fallingwater living room! Fallingwater is pleased to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist Leon Guallart-Díaz for a special musical performance as part of his “Comfort Home Tour,” which brings architectural works to life with soothing and rhythmic sounds from his piano keyboard. Observers have described his music as “a warm hug in the middle of a winter storm.”

Born in Barcelona, Spain and currently living in Los Angeles, Guallart-Díaz is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on music and film, for which he has received multiple international awards. He has composed music for the Contemporary Ballet of Catalonia and is currently collaborating with Sony Music on a Christmas-themed album.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments, including wine and light hors d'oeuvres, before the intimate sunset concert. Tickets, available for purchase online by this Friday at 5 p.m. at Fallingwater.org, are just $75 for this symphonic and intimate musical experience. Proceeds from this event support the ongoing preservation and educational programs at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.

Future Architects Share Their Designs

At the end of May, Fallingwater welcomed nearly 100 student architects and their families for the annual Gnome Home Design Symposium. Each unique gnome house was handcrafted for a fictional gnome client, reflecting months of detailed work and creative design by budding young architects.

Our Gnome House Design Challenge, for kids ages eight to 13, explores themes of design, architecture, client relations and craftsmanship in a playful, hands-on learning experience. In this short video, one of our participants shares his design process and what he loved most about creating "The Cogwhistle House" for his gnome!
