Join us on September 10 at 5 p.m. for a relaxing yoga experience surrounded by the beauty you make possible.

Visit Fallingwater This Fall |
September is a great time to visit Fallingwater, between summer’s departure and fall’s approach. The lush green foliage surrounding the house is turning to muted shades of gold and orange. Or, now is a great time to plan your October visit.
Celebrate Fallingwater’s 90th anniversary at several events, including a classical guitar recital, “In the Nature of Materials,” by guitarist and Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiast Stephen Morrison on October 9.

Care for Nature in September |
Make new friends while you care for nature!
Volunteer September 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our French Creek Hemlocks Natural Area in Venango County as part of the annual French Creek Watershed Cleanup Day. (Last year, our team removed 3,190 pounds of trash at a WPC preserve; overall, event volunteers removed 37,210 pounds of trash across the watershed!)
Watch for more volunteer opportunities throughout the fall.

Looking for a meaningful way to get more involved with WPC? We’re seeking two to four new members to join our Emerging Leaders Advisory Committee.
This group of people in the early and middle stages of their careers commits to learning, volunteering and sharing WPC’s conservation mission with their network throughout the region.

Fallingwater Offers a Variety of School Programs |
When students visit Fallingwater, they don’t just tour a house. They learn about architecture, design, engineering and the philosophy of creating art in harmony with nature.
Whether they’re “Wright in Our Backyard” in the Laurel Highlands or hail from the other side of the world, students can gain inspiration and knowledge of Fallingwater.
Educators can schedule an onsite or virtual field trip, or encourage students to design a homes for gnomes.

Wildflower meadows, such as this one at our Wolf Creek Narrows Natural Area in Butler County, aren’t just beautiful…they provide native insects, birds and wildlife with important nutrition and habitat.
Different native flower species bloom at different times of the year, providing a continuous nectar buffet for most of the growing season.
Meadows also rebuild soil, manage stormwater and store carbon.
