Welcome Back! Fallingwater is Now Open |
|
Whether visiting for the first time or the tenth, you’ll quickly see and feel why Fallingwater is truly a place for deep discovery, understanding and transformation, especially this year, during our 63rd tour season and 90th anniversary!
Rediscover Fallingwater’s innovative architecture through our customized tour experiences featuring our popular Guided Architectural Tour and In-Depth Guided Tour. In addition, several other types of experiences, including special family tours and guided grounds tours, are available. Advance ticket purchase is required, as tours are scheduled and limited in size.
Also, visitors and supporters will have several opportunities to celebrate our 90th anniversary through an array of special in-person and online events and experiences throughout the year, including the Fallingwater 90th Anniversary Gala on August 29.
We’re pleased to share that Fallingwater’s reopening also coincides with the completion of World Heritage Preserved, a three-year comprehensive preservation project to waterproof Fallingwater’s stonework, flat roofs and flagstone terraces, and repair deteriorated areas of its concrete walls, among other work.
With the scaffolding down and springtime upon us, we invite you, your family or friends back to Fallingwater to find your calm and connect to history. Fallingwater’s tours are offered daily—except Wednesdays—from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through November 30, 2026. In December, tours take place on weekends and each day from December 26-31, 2026 (except Wed., Dec. 30). Tours can be reserved on the Fallingwater website or by calling Fallingwater Visitor Services at 724-329-8501. |

Fallingwater Fireside with Bill Strickland |
|
Pull up a chair, May 12, 2026, in the Fallingwater Living Room to be inspired by Bill Strickland, founder of Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild and Manchester Bidwell Corporation. At age 16, Strickland visited Fallingwater with his high school mentor, and the experience left a lasting impression. Today, Strickland is an entrepreneur, social innovator and MacArthur Fellow, among other accolades.
As one of three featured speakers in our 2026 Fallingwater Fireside series, Strickland’s thoughtful insights should not be missed! Limited seating is available and the evening conversation is followed by a wine & hors d’oeuvres reception. |

The Story Behind Wright’s Office Design |
|
Join Fallingwater at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Art for “Pittsburgh to London: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Kaufmann Office at the V&A," a free and fascinating conversation about Edgar Kaufmann Sr.'s department store office, which was one of Wright’s most complete and lesser-known interior design projects. Also designed in 1935, the same year as Fallingwater, the office is on view at the Victoria and Albert Museum East Storehouse in London.
Hear from V&A curator Christopher Wilk as he shares the story behind the design, how this space has been preserved for future generations and more. |

An Important Visual Update |
|
We recently updated our branding, replacing our logo with a new wordmark! Rooted in history and stewardship, the new wordmark was inspired by Edgar Kaufmann jr. and his 1986 book, "Fallingwater: A Frank Lloyd Wright Country House."
The updated identity, which reflects a unique visual identity, provides a timeless yet modern, elegant design, positioning Fallingwater for continued relevance in contemporary and contextual conversations about architecture, art, design and nature. We created a video to share our creative process. |
